How to build a high-converting ServiceTitan website.

A contractor website has exactly one job: turn a stranger with a problem into a booked appointment in your ServiceTitan Bookings tab. Everything else — the drone footage, the awards carousel — is decoration. After rebuilding my own shop's site and measuring everything, here's the seven-point checklist that actually moved bookings.

1. Load fast or lose the emergency

Your highest-value visitor is a homeowner on a phone, on cellular, with a problem that can't wait. If your page takes six seconds to render its hero slider, they're back on Google before your logo appears. Aim for under three seconds on a mid-range phone: compress images, drop unused plugins and page-builder bloat, and cache aggressively. Speed is a conversion feature before it's an SEO feature.

2. Put phone number and booking form above the fold — both

Half your visitors want to talk to a human; half never want to speak on the phone again. Serve both instantly: a tappable phone number in the header, and a short booking form visible without scrolling on every service page. Making either audience hunt is a tax on your conversion rate.

3. Show trust signals where the decision happens

License number, review score and count, years in business, BBB rating — homeowners scan for these in the seconds before they commit. Don't bury them on an About page; put them on the form itself, where the hesitation actually happens. (This is why LeadCapture ST renders your license and Google rating in the form header — the trust and the ask share a screen.)

4. One page per service, written like you talk

"Panel upgrades," "EV charger installation," "whole-home rewiring" — each core service deserves its own page with plain-language answers: what it costs to have you look at it, how fast you can come, what happens on the visit. These pages win the long-tail searches and give your ads better landing pages than a generic homepage.

5. Make booking lead-first, not wizard-first

This is the single highest-leverage change on the list. A multi-step scheduler only creates the lead if the visitor completes every step — so every abandon is a homeowner your systems never met, even after they typed their phone number. Flip the order: capture name, phone, ZIP, and service on the first click, create the ServiceTitan booking immediately, and offer the calendar afterward as an option.

When we made this change on my own shop's site, online bookings rose 200% in four months on identical traffic. The deep-dive on the five ways sites leak leads is here.

6. Wire the website into ServiceTitan properly

Forms that email the office aren't integration — they're a to-do list. A real ServiceTitan website integration means submissions become bookings instantly, mapped to job types, tagged with campaign IDs, with scheduling checked against your live capacity. It's a five-minute setup with the right tooling, and it's the difference between "the website sends us stuff" and "the website books jobs."

7. Track conversions honestly

If your Google Ads account counts "form page visits" as conversions, you're optimizing ad spend toward noise. Fire real events — lead captured, appointment self-scheduled — into GA4 and Google Ads, and tag every booking with its ServiceTitan campaign. Within a month you'll know which keywords produce jobs, not clicks, and your cost-per-booked-job becomes a number you can actually manage.
